The Story of Provider
Provider's journey began in the late 1980s when Johan Hernmarck founded Ledstiernan Utvecklings AB and started investing in technology-driven companies with strong growth potential.
In 1997, Provider Venture Partners AB was established — one of Sweden’s first venture capital firms with a clear focus on tech investments.
The first of three IT Provider funds were launched in 1998. Since then, Provider has invested — either directly or as an advisor through Provider Venture Partners to the IT Provider funds — over SEK 3 billion in more than 100 companies.
With decades of experience in the Swedish venture capital landscape, Provider is a trusted advisor on both strategic and operational matters within the ecosystem.
